PHYLUM CNIDERIA (jellyfish and coral animals)
Cnidaria is a phylum includes over 10,000 species of animals
found only in water and mostly in the sea. Their different because their cells
are mainly used for capturing their prey. Their bodies consist of mesoglea, a
non-living jelly-like substance, sandwiched between two layers of animal tissue
that are mostly one cell thick. They are gradually symmetrical with mouths
surrounded by tentacles. Radial is the type of symmetry.
